Meet Our Markham Audiologists

Jaimie Archer
Audiologist (M.Cl.Sc., reg. CASLPO)
Jaimie Archer is an audiologist who has long served the local Markham community. Jaimie has worked with a diverse patient population, including patients of all ages, complex medical histories, and a range of special needs. Through this, she has honed her skills to customize hearing tests and hearing aid fittings, finding unique solutions that suit the specific needs of each patient.
Jaimie has a personal connection to audiology. Her mother was born with severe hearing loss and has been a lifelong user of hearing aids, so Jaimie has a deep understanding of the impact of hearing loss and the importance of compassionate care. This fuels her commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient she sees in her practice.
Outside of the clinic, Jaimie is a homebody and loves to spend time curled up with her two beloved cats, Sterling and Sesame. She finds joy and relaxation in taking care of her many houseplants, crocheting, or reading a good book.

Boris Chang
Audiologist (M.Cl.Sc., reg. CASLPO)
Boris Chang, a proud Markham local, is an audiologist who is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. His career in hearing healthcare is marked by a diverse array of roles prior to founding Archer Hearing Centre, including private and public healthcare, clinical coaching and training, and leadership positions.
Boris’ vision for Archer Hearing Centre was born from these experiences, aiming to create a haven that delivers exceptional patient-centered care with best practice standards, and ensures equitable access to premier hearing services at honest, transparent prices.
Aside from audiology, Boris holds a bachelor’s degree in classical music performance (oboe) with honours from the University of Toronto. He maintains his musical roots by playing in local orchestras and nurturing a newfound love for classical singing. Boris has recently become a hearing aid user. This experience has transformed not only how he now navigates his life, but his connection and empathy with his patient base.
